This two-star hotel may not be as lavish as some of Disney's others, however award-winning Hotel Santa Fe which sits opposite Disney's Hotel Cheyenne provides great value and hospitality to match. It was voted one of the top French hotels for families at TripAdvisor's 2019 Traveller's Choice Awards. With its colourful urban style it transports you into a World of New Mexican influences, the iconic Route 66 and Radiator Springs! The latter, the fictional setting of Pixar animated film franchise Cars on which the hotel's rooms are themed. Colourful characters including star of the show recognisable little red race car Lightning McQueen feature in both décor and furnishings. There's also a huge poster-style canvas from the film atop the main hotel building.
Disney's Hotel Santa Fe is one of the hotels located along Disneyland Paris' Rio Grande River, providing easy access on foot to the Disney Village and the Disney Parks with a 15-minute walk along the waterfront. The train station with Eurostar terminal is also the same distance. There is also a free shuttle bus from the hotel for a speedier transfer if desired.
1,000 rooms in four room types, spread over forty buildings make up the accommodation for Disney's Santa Fe. The perfect pitstop for fans of the Pixar Cars franchise, rooms are suitably themed in homage to the films main characters including hotshot race car Lightning McQueen, rusty 1950s tow truck Mater, Doc Hudson and the gang. Bright and colourful with inspired décor including Cars artwork on the walls, traffic cone shaped lightshades, character-themed bedspread, chequered flag design bath tiles and Lightning McQueen signature toiletries. Rooms sleep up to 6 people, some with two bathrooms and a river-side view.
Route 66-inspired La Cantina with its vibrant Mexican theming and all-you-can-eat buffet has a great selection of food, even for kids providing delicious continental breakfast selection; pastries, bread rolls, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit and more. Dinner too features a foodie feast including Tex-Mex inspired international specialities, meat and fish choices and delectable desserts served on the back of a Mater-style truck. For post-dinner drinks and cocktails the very colourful Rio Grande Bar serves plenty of cocktails and beers. There’s also a Starbucks corner for coffee.
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto are regular visitors to the hotel. As well as meet and greets with their favourite Disney characters, children can let off steam with playtime in the indoor children's corner, outdoor Indian Village-style play area and Pow Wow games room. Free WiFi access is available throughout the hotel. Babysitting services are also available at an additional cost. The on-site Disney boutique the Trading Post is the ideal place for Disney souvenirs.
