- The curvilinear, crescent-shaped Tower blends modern architectural sensibilities with the trademark visual cues of its influential neighbour, Disney's Contemporary Resort. The exterior color palette, strong horizontal lines and angular rooftop lounge mimic the original Resort's A-frame structure.
- A convenient (and covered) Sky Way Bridge, accessible only with a Bay Lake Tower room key, links the Tower to the shops, restaurants and monorail station in the original Disney's Contemporary Resort.
Architectural Design
- n addition to the pool, with its 148-foot-long water slide, there is the Community Hall, where ping-pong, foosball and video games are available as well as equipment for basketball, tennis and shuffleboard.
- Check the chalkboard in the children's area, located in the main lobby, for games and crafts offered by the recreation team. Children will also enjoy the nightly Electrical Water Pageant that floats through the waters of Bay Lake.
